Dr. Danny Lamm is the President of the State Zionist Council of Victoria, one of the most effective and active Zionist organisations in the Diaspora. He led the Mizrachi Organisation in Victoria for ten years as its president, and has been communally active since his teens. In the past, he has been the President of the UIA Young Adults, and UIA 20s- 30s, and in this capacity he established the first UIA Young Leadership Mission to Israel. Dr. Lamm currently sits on the executive bodies of the Jewish Community Council of Victoria, the Zionist Federation of Australia and the Executive Council of Australian Jewry.

Under Dr. Lamm’s 5 year presidency, the State Zionist Council has further developed its capacity and effectiveness in hasbara, leadership development, engagement with general communal leaders and providing a range of activities and services to connect people from the Jewish community more strongly with Israel.

Dr. Lamm is a dentist by profession. He has been a member of the Va’ad Hapoel since 1997, and has served as a committee member on the Board of Governors since September 2006. From June 2012 he is an Associate Member. He is the Deputy Chair of the Aliyah & Rescue Committee.
