Nelle Miller is the current President of the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee in Sarasota, Florida. Prior to this, she served as Co-Chair of the 2009-2010 Annual Campaign and as the Vice President of Programming on the Executive Committee.  She is beginning her third year as a member of the National Women's Philanthropy Board of The Jewish Federations of North America, where she also was selected to participate in the Speakers Bureau.

Nelle has served on the board of the Lexington Montessori School, and the Advisory Board for The Institute for Learning and Development in the Boston area, as well as on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of Temple Sinai in Sarasota, FL.  

Nelle was a co-founder and the CFO of PlanetResume, a leading provider of Internet recruitment advertising services focusing on the IT sector. She participated in the successful completion of the acquisition of PlanetResume by PGA Group (NYSE) in October, 1999.  Prior to that, she was a partner in the software & hardware development company, Software House, which developed and marketed products in the commercial access control and security market. She was the company's CFO and had overall responsibilities for finance, production and manufacturing, operations and human resources.

Nelle lives in Sarasota with her husband Dan and their son Henry. She is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do Karate, an avid runner and reader, and loves to travel. Nelle volunteers at her son's school, The Pine View School, and puts time in wherever she can to support the community.

She served as a Committee Member since December 2010. From Februarty 2012 she is a Board member.
