Ruben was born in 1972 and lived in The Hague till he went on Shnat Hachsjara with Haboniem.

Back in Holland he finished his Masters in Economy at the University of Rotterdam. Already in Rotterdam he started his first venture in advertising.

Since then Ruben was active in advertising, and started in 2000 a mobile advertising company, he sold in 2007.

Now living in Amsterdam he is married to Sharon, who is a singer, since 2004 and has two children.

Ruben was past chairman of the Dutch Young Leadership and currently holds the position as chairman of the Dutch campaign. He is also active in other non-profit organizations in the Netherlands.

Apart being passionate for the Jewish cause, he is passionate about cricket.

He is a Committee Member since November 2009.
