Ms. Diane Feinberg is the new Chair of the Executive Committee of JFNA (November 2012). iPrior to that she served as the Vice Chair of United Israel Appeal from November 2006. She is also a member of the UIA Executive Committee and serves on its Board of Directors. In the past she served as the President of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington (1999-2001) and also served as its Campaign Chair (1997-1999), Vice President for Human Resource Development and President of the Women’s Division. Currently she chairs the Grants Committee of the United Jewish Endowment Fund of Greater Washington. She has served on the Federation’s Board of Directors since 1986 and she is a member of the Board of Trustees of the United Jewish Endowment Fund. Ms. Feinberg also served as Chair of the Financial Resource Development of the Federation, as well as Chair of the Development of the United Jewish Endowment Fund of Greater Washington. Ms. Feinberg also co-chaired with Norman Goldstein Israel@60, the largest pro Israel public event ever held in Washington.

Ms. Feinberg served on the board of Hillel of Greater Washington for many years. She served as a member of the Boards of UJC (JFNA), chaired its Missions Committee and the Major Gifts of National Women Philanthropy of UJC. In November 2009 Ms. Feinberg Co-Chaired the UJC General Assembly and from 2007 through 2010 served as Vice Chair of UJC.

Ms. Feinberg was awarded many awards. Among others, she won the JFNA NWP Kipnis Wilson/Friedland Award in 2010 and the National Capital Philanthropy Day Exceptional Volunteer Fundraiser Award in 2001.

Dede Feinberg has been a member of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since June 2000.  She currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Marketing & Communications Committee. In the past, she co-chaired the Assembly Planning Committee and the Jewish Peoplehood Awareness Among Israelis Committee.
