Marc Gold is President of UIA Federations Canada. He was born in Montreal, and is a graduate of McGill University.  He holds law degrees from the University of British Columbia and Harvard Law School, and is a member of the bar of Ontario.  A former law professor and Associate Dean at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, he currently is Vice-President of Maxwell Cummings & Sons Holdings Limited and an Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Law, McGill University.

He is the Chair of the Canada-Israel Committee, the First Vice-President of FEDERATION CJA, and a member of the Executive Committee of United Israel Appeals Federations Canada.   He is also a member of the Conseil de l’Université, Université de Montréal, a Director of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and a member of the Executive Committee of la Fondation de la Tolérance.

Marc Gold has been an Associate Member of the Board of Governors since June 2002. He is a member since June 2005.
