Jack Smorgon is the President and Chairman of the United Israel Appeal of Victoria, Australia.  

He has headed a number of important national and regional commissions, including the Australian National Railways Commission. 

Jack Smorgon was managing director of the Smorgon Group of Companies from 1954 until 1995.

A member of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since February 2001, he is the Chair of the Partnerships and Activism Committee.
