David Sutton was born in1941 to a Jewish Zionist family active in the Buenos Aires Jewish community, David Sutton was inspired at an early age by his family's Zionism. In 1978, at the age of 37, Mr. Sutton joined Keren Hayesod where he remains active to this day.

David Sutton has served as Vice President and President of CUJA (Keren Hayesod, Argentina) and has also served as Member of the Keren Hayesod World Board of Trustees, and Member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors.

In 2001 David Sutton was awarded the prestigious Keren Hayesod – UIA Goldstein Prize for his outstanding service to Keren Hayesod and the State of Israel. In 2002 he was awarded the Hebrew University's Scopus Prize.

David Sutton is a successful businessman who owns several hotels in addition to a perfume factory and a commercial center. He is married to Bertha Lewcowicz and has five children and 18 grandchildren.

He is a Board Member since June 2009.
