The Jewish Agency is a unique global partnership that is unlike any other organization. It is a partnership between three constituent bodies: the World Zionist Organization, the United Israel Appeal/United Jewish Communities and Keren Hayesod. The Jewish Agency’s governing bodies - the Assembly, the Board of Governors and the Executive - are comprised of members from each of these constituent organizations. This broad representation ensures that Jews around the world collectively decide on the Jewish Agency’s programming in coordination and understanding with the Israeli Government.
In addition, many Jewish Agency activities are decided upon and carried out in cooperation with other partners around the world. These include numerous Israeli government ministries, foreign governments, international non-governmental entities, local and regional councils in Israel, voluntary associations in Israel and abroad, philanthropic foundations, institutions of higher learning and leaders from the private sector.
