Small businesses in Sderot could receive grants to mitigate damage caused by Palestinian rockets fired from Gaza.
The Jewish Agency for Israel announced Monday that it would provide up to $1,000 to small businesses using funds contributed by United Jewish Communities federation umbrella group.
JAFI estimated that Sderot has some 1,000 small businesses, many of which face economic hardship due to the rocket fire.
Grant applications will be accepted until Feb. 15.
