Jewish Agency Chairman Zeev Bielski toured Sderot and met with mayor Eli Moyal. Bielski said that the JA had raised donations totaling NIS 10 million ($2.5 million) to fund a week vacation for Sderot and area children.

In addition, the JA would distribute vibrating beepers to the deaf so they would be alerted ahead of Qassam attacks. (Yael Branovsky)
