The Jewish Agency for Israel and Galei Tzahal Present:
Chanukah Candle Lighting from Around the World
In honor of Chanukah, the Jewish Agency for Israel initiated a special broadcast on Galei Tzahal together with Jewish communities around the world. On each day of Chanukah the candle lighting ceremony will be broadcast from one of the participating communities. The broadcast will also include a Chanukah greeting from the community to the State of Israel and the IDF soldiers.
The countries participating in this program are Hungary, South Africa, Venezuela, Turkey, Russia, the United States, Greece and the Ukraine. Representatives of the Jewish Agency overseas will record the candle lighting ceremonies.
