The Aliyah Department of the Jewish Agency for Israel, in cooperation with MASA Israel Journey, the American Zionist Movement, and JLove.com, will be hosting an Israel Programs, Aliyah opportunities, and Israeli culture festival that may draw up to 4,000 Jews from the New York metropolitan area. The festival, intended for Israel-minded students, singles, and families alike, will run from 11 AM until 8 PM, with Israeli crafts for children of all ages, an Israeli folk dancing session from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM, and a special musical performance by Hadag Nachash set to begin at 5 PM.
Attendees can also sample Israeli cuisine from the cafe, purchase their Chanukah gifts at a "shuk" (marketplace) of vendors selling Israeli and Israel-related items, and enter a raffle to win a free ticket to Israel, courtesy of EL AL.
