On March 9, 2004 a group of 25 new immigrants from the Shocham absorption center in Tiberias joined the Amidar Company and the Department of Social Services for a special project. The group, which included participants from the Banaim, Selah and Kedma programs, went to the homes of elderly residents to paint and fix up their homes for the Passover holiday. The residents appreciated the project immensely and the participants had an unforgettable experience.
