The Weinberg Foundation Trustees, including the treasurer, Mr. Barry Schloss, recently visited St. Petersburg together with the Foundation's advisor, Mr. Darrell Friedman, and four other experts. The Foundation provides assistance to Jewish Agency projects in the FSU and in Israel.
Among the Trustees' meetings held in St. Petersburg was one with parents of students now studying in Israel in the framework of the Jewish Agency's SELA program for higher education. From St. Petersburg, the group journeyed onto Israel, where they met the students themselves at the Calanit absorption center.
