The whole experience of being on this trip has had a profound effect on me. Seeing my boys in the context in which they live and the friendships they have made and the language they speak. This gave me insight into their lives. I was moved to tears when we were thanked for our sacrifice in having the boys where I know they belong. I miss my boys every day and I dream of them at night.
Despite this, I am sure they are in the right place both for their personal growth and because they have a purpose greater than themselves - the maintaining of the land of Israel. It was meaningful to me to meet other mothers from all over the world who are in my predicament. I know that the boys have a difficult life, but as Eli said to me, "I am grateful for this life, it makes me stronger."
I cannot thank you enough for these days I spent on this trip.
All the best,
