The technology center for new immigrants in Rishon Letzion began as the dream of Eva and Morris Feld and now serves hundreds of new immigrants helping them build their future in their new country.
On Monday, August 17, Mark Feinberg visited a facility that was built six years ago thanks to a donation made by his aunt, Eva Feld, and her husband Morris, through the Jewish Agency’s Israel Education Fund.

Mark, who came to Israel for the first time together with his seventeen-year-old son, is the first representative of the family to visit the center since its founding in 2003. Mark met with the center’s staff, which consists of veteran immigrants from the Former Soviet Union, who described the wide range of work being done in technological fields by FSU immigrants. The center offers courses in employment, English and computer science, as well as activities for retirees and children.
Mark was visibly impressed by the center’s work and promised to help in purchasing new computers.
In addition to their visit in Rishon Letziyon, Mark and his son also visited a preschool that was donated by the Feld Fund via the Jewish Agency’s Education Fund.
