On Monday, December 7, a delegation of 44 pastors and leading religious figures of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews visited the Jewish Agency Mevaseret Zion Absorption Center.
The delegation members were treated to a tour of the preschools, were hosted in the home of families living in the center, and met with Mr. Micha Feldman, who has been involved in all facets of Ethiopian immigration and absorption into Israel since 1982.
The participants were visibly moved by the experience, and expressed their pride in the cooperation between the Fellowship and the Jewish Agency in bringing Ethiopian immigrants to Israel and assisting in their process of absorption in their new home.
The memorable day concluded with a special dinner in the presence of Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, President of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, who was invited by Jewish Agency Chairman of the Executive Mr. Natan Sharansky. Among visiting young immigrants from countries around the world, Mr. Sharansky greeted mission participants and thanked them for their invaluable support.
