A New Library Opens in Tel Hai
ספריה חדשה על שם מלקולם ודורותי וודנברג

November 1, 2009 / 11 Cheshvan 5770

On Tuesday, October 27, the new Malcolm and Dorothy Woldenberg Library was formally dedicated on the new campus of Tel Hai College.  The dedication ceremony was attended by the college heads, Jewish Agency representatives, students, and Woldenberg Fund Trustee Minette Brown, along with her husband, Paul.

The program included a series of speeches, followed by the uncovering of the donors’ plaque.

After the program, the guests were given a tour of the new, technologically-advanced library.  One of the students, a member of the Ayalim project, spoke about the importance of the library and the work done by Ayalim in Kiryat Shemona.  Minette and Paul were impressed with the undergraduate and graduate degree programs and the new campus, which is surrounded by a breathtaking view.

During the last 35 years, the Woldenberg Fund established 27 projects through the Jewish Agency’s Israel Education Fund, including a school, two concert halls, preschools and daycare centers.
