This July, a Young Leadership delegation, representing large Federations, such as New York, Chicago and Boston, as well as smaller Jewish communities, toured Jewish Agency and Joint Distribution Committee projects.

The Jewish Agency projects toured, included the delegation members' Partnership 2000 communities, Young Communities and Masa programs. They were also treated to a tour of the Jewish Agency building.

On July 1st, the delegation traveled to the Hineni community in Kiryat Gat. They heard about the Young Community’s work with the city’s Ethiopian population and they toured the agricultural plot that the community is developing together with older residents of Kiryat Gat.

On July 5th, the delegation visited the Masa Eco-Israel project at the Adam and Eve Farm near Modiin. They learned about the Masa program and the Eco-Israel project, and enjoyed a guided tour of the farm accompanied by Masa participants.

All the delegation members promised to share their interest in these fascinating sites with their communities back home.
