A delegation of the Keren Hayesod Fund in France visited the Jewish Agency Nurit Absorption Center in Be’er Sheva in early June. The visit began with a presentation about Ethiopian immigration, by the center’s director and the personal aliyah story of one of the immigrants. 

The delegation immersed themselves in Ethiopian Jewish culture and took part in the new immigrants’ traditional coffee drinking ceremony and in a pottery workshop.  Together they crafted traditional Ethiopian bowls and platters.
