The JFNA'S Fisher Flight Fellows program came to Israel on their annual retreat with Jane and Larry Sherman to visit Jewish Agency projects throughout Israel.
During their visit to Sderot, the delegation heard an explanation from Ofer Baram about the Kassam rockets that are fired daily from Gaza, and spent time with local residents who received assistance from the Fund for the Victims of Terror, founded by the Jewish Agency for Israel.

They visited the Jewish Agency Ayalim "Max Fisher Village" in Dimona as well as the Jewish Agency Ben Yakir Youth Village and joined the pupils taking care of the farm animals. One of the participants even donated a horse to the village’s therapeutic riding facility.
The delegation met with Natan Sharansky and a MASA participant who shared his experience in Israel. Following this, the group were taken to visit the Net@ program in Jerusalem where they interacted with the children while working with them on computers.

On their last day the delegation visited the Jewish Agency Mevaseret Zion Absorption Center and heard about Ethiopian aliyah. The group participated in a very moving Kabbalat Shabbat with the kindergarten children and then met with local residents in their homes.
