Encounters: Baltimore Birthright Participants Spend Day With Israeli Teens
Birthright participants from Baltimore
Birthright participants from Baltimore who were among a group who
spent time volunteering for a day in Israeli high schools.

January 27, 2011 / 22 Shvat 5771

On January 10, 2011, 14 Birthright Israel participants from Baltimore volunteered in two high schools in Ashkelon. Two Masa Israel participants on the OTZMA Israel Teachers Corps (ITC) program organized and ran the activities at the high schools in which the Birthright participants helped Israeli youth with their English language conversation skills.

The activities were a big success and both the Birthright participants and the high schoolers benefitted from the encounter.
