Coming to the Rescue of Ben Yakir On October 22nd, children living at the Jewish Agency’s Ben Yakir’s Youth Village, which is home to 120 at-risk youth, were shocked to discover their prized animal corner had been burglarized and all 53 goats gone. Within hours, Jewish Agency lay leaders, staff and colleagues from several federations pitched in and by the end of the day enough money was raised to replace the entire stolen flock. Read more
