Over 20 Israeli businesspeople attend a lecture by Yossi Bachar, incoming
chairman of Israel Discount Bank, at the Shibolet law firm in New York.

Yossi Bachar, the former Director General of the Finance Ministry in Israel and the incoming chairman of Israel Discount Bank, gave a briefing on Israel's economy at the Shibolet law firm in NY in November. Bachar, a member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency, heads the audit committee. The event was hosted by Oren Heiman, Managing partner at Shibolet, and the Jewish Agency.

The briefing and "insiders look" was attended by over 20 noteworthy Israeli business people based in New York who specialize in banking, fashion, moving, real estate and consulting. Special guest included former member of the board of governors, Ambassador Gavriela Shalev.

The event was part of the Jewish Agency's outreach efforts to Israelis living in New York.
