Ramat Hadassah Youth Village students Seniors raised money for the "Elem" association, which helps Israeli children at risk. The high school Seniors prepared chocolate candies, with the collaboration of the neighboring Oranim College Students' Association, and went to sell them in Oranim College.
According to Meir, a Ramat Hadassah counselor who led the project, "The idea was to create cooperation with the community and to teach our students that they have a lot to give. Each one of us can assist and help other people." Contribution to society is one of Ramat Hadassah's chief values.
The students' motivation and drive was outstanding, raising almost $400 for Elem. Daniel, a student at Ramat Hadassah, says: "It's a great feeling to help people in need. I definitely want to continue to volunteer for these kinds of projects in the future!"
