Absorption Programs and Options for Young Adults
  • For young adults, considering aliyah, the Jewish Agency offers a variety of both academic and non-academic programs, for those between the ages of 18-35.
  • All programs have a social and cultural component, which includes lectures and excursions.
  • There is a cost for each program.
  • There is usually a deposit fee as well.

Ulpan Etzion
An intensive ulpan program in Jerusalem for single olim who are university graduates, from all over the world. The program provides guidance for advanced academic studies, orientation for employment and housing options.
  Ulpan Carmel Etzion
An intensive ulpan program in Haifa for single olim, who are university graduates from all over the world. The program provides guidance for advanced academic studies, introduction to employment and housing options.
  Ulpan Plus at IBIM
An intensive, high-level ulpan for singles from around the world, held at the Ibim Student Village, in southern Israel. The program also provides assistance in all aspects of absorption, as well as guidance for life after the ulpan.
   
Kibbutz Ulpan
The kibbutz ulpan program is aimed at young olim which combines Hebrew instruction, work and a real encounter with Israeli society and the Land of Israel.
  First Home in the Homeland for Singles
A program that provides a soft landing for eligible singles on kibbutzim in the north and south of Israel. The olim pay a subsidized fee for living on the kibbutz, participate in a Hebrew ulpan and receive wide array of absorption support services.
 

Young Adult Absorption Centers
A program providing young olim with a wide array of absorption services such as Hebrew ulpan, educational and cultural programming and preparation for higher education and the labor market in Israel.

 

 

TAKA
A preparatory program for young olim who have completed up to two semesters of higher education overseas and wish to continue studies in Israel.

  “Shnat Kehila”
Are you looking for a way for “Tikun Olam”? Are you looking for an extraordinary opportunity to experience
a special community lifestyle? Do you wish to make Aliyah to Israel?
If the answer is yes - ‘Shnat Kehila’ Program is the answer for you!
  Olim with Ayalim
This project provides a structured framework for Aliyah. This includes a support system for the absorption stages at an Ayalim Student Village, as well as a built-in community and peer group of both olim and Israelis, for studying, volunteering, community life and settling in Israel.
 

 

Licensed Teachers
A New program for licensed teachers will be opening.  Details will be online soon.
  Garin Tzabar
Garin Tzabar is a group organized by the Israeli scouts youth movement for Ktinim Chozrim (Returning Minors) and young olim who choose to move to Israel and serve in the IDF.
  Atidim
The Academic track provides an opportunity to get an undergraduate degree BEFORE one's military service. Young olim can then use their service in the IDF to gain professional experience in their chosen field, and to serve as officers.

 

   
Israel Bonus
Many MASA graduates are interested in remaining in Israel after they complete their program but lack the necessary knowledge and support to do so. With Israel Bonus, they can spend up to 6 weeks in an Absorption Center, while exploring life opportunities, in Israel. Based on availability. Cost: $40.00,  meals not included.
  Student Authority 
A joint body of the Jewish Agency and the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption.
The goal of the Authority is to assist young olim from all over the world to integrate within Mechina (pre- academic) programs and in institutions of higher education, by full subsidized tuition fees
  Young Adult Center in Tel Aviv
A non-residential aliyah and networking center in Tel-Aviv to help and support young adult Olim  in finding employment and educational options, as well as providing social activities.
