Following from the many student and children activities on the customs and history of the Holiday of Lights - we, the Ibim family, light the candles of Hanukah together this year. A European delegation of journalists and bloggers made a scheduled visit to ibim to observe both the facility and the residents. We see oursleves as ambassadors for Israel and able witnesses on daily life in the region surrounding Gaza, which was subject for so many years to rocket attacks. We escorted them around the Village and happily reported on our work with immigrant absorption - particularly about our fantastic cooperation with the Jewish community from abroad.
