  • Technion (if there are over 15 applicants )

Who Can Come to Taka:

  • Students exempt from Mechina
  • Students with 2 or more years of university
  • Students applying to institutions which do not require Mechina
  • Students applying to practical engineering courses
  • Students applying to masters degrees

What will you study?
About 30 weekly hours
Academic Hebrew, English, and one or more of the following: research methods, computer skills, social sciences, economics (only in Ashkelon), preparing art portfolio  (only in Jerusalem), preparation for psychometric exam

Conditions of acceptance: presentation of original study documents and passing the Hebrew exam (level Bet+)

Cost: 220 shekels registration, additional payment for psychometric prep-course, rent & living expenses

Important: The tuition for Taka is funded by the Student Authority in addition to the 3 year entitlement. Students on Taka are required to complete the program successfully in order to continue receiving assistance from the Student Authority. There is no provision of housing in the Pre-Taka ulpan in Jerusalem (with the exception of students already on Ezion).
