About Ulpan
Israel's state-of-the art "ulpan" (intensive Hebrew study) programs for new immigrants include five hours of immersive Hebrew-language instruction each day, five days a week, for five months. The instructors, who are certified by the Ministry of Education, weave together a variety of educational techniques, technology, and subject matter to help students achieve mastery of the Israeli language at all levels, whether you are starting with the Aleph-Bet or you need to polish your vocabulary and grammar. The courses include units on Israeli culture and trips around Israel, to enhance your learning experience and help you feel at home.
The High Standard of Ulpan Etzion - Ramla
The Ramla Ulpan Etzion Program aims to provide you as a new immigrant with the tools required for easier integration into the labor market and higher education. Working together with the municipal youth center “K’shatot”, you will receive assistance in career development and finding a suitable job. We believe that everyone is capable of achieving success in their educations, and careers, for themselves and for their society. Studies also include units on issues of Jewish identity, Israeli holidays, familiarity with Israeli society, the history of the Jewish people, and current events. There is an emphasis on encouraging volunteer activities.
Housing
You will live in new buildings in apartments of four or five rooms, one participant to each room. Accommodation is in Kiryat Menachem, one of Ramla’s best neighborhoods. All apartments have internet connection and are furnished with beds, desks, a refrigerator, stove-top, microwave, and an electric kettle.
