The "Zionei Yisrael" Association recently held a seminar on the IDF, for Ethiopian parents from the Haruv absorption center. The seminar took place on an army base, where the olim were given an insight into what military service in Israel is about.
They met with the base commander, heard about the recruitment process, and listened to to Ethiopian combat soldiers recount their experiences.
The various bodies involved in organizing the event, included the IDF, Jewish Agency, Ministry of immigrant Absorption and the Zionei Yisrael Association.
