When I arrived in Israel in July 2009, I had no idea how hard it would be to make Aliyah, leaving family and friends behind and starting a completely new life. I’ve come to realize that there is no avoiding the feelings, experiences or stresses that come with changing countries, no matt ter who you are or at what stage of life you may be. However, I was one of the lucky ones who opted for the Jewish Agency for Israel’s “Aliyah on a Red Carpet” program. Read more
