Philip Meltzer is the Co-chair of the Educational Engagement Subcommittee of the Board. He is the immediate Past President of the Association of Reform Zionists of America (ARZA). Previously he served as President, Vice President and National Treasurer of ARZA and was its New York Regional President.
Mr. Meltzer has also served on the Executive Committees of the Union for Reform Judaism, the World Union for Progressive Judaism and AIPAC, and on the Boards of both the Jewish National Fund and the American Zionist Movement.
Mr. Meltzer is an attorney with offices in Cedarhurst, New York. He is a graduate of New York University and New York University Law School. He was elected to the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors in June 1998. From June 2005 he serves as a Committee Member.
