Mr. Evgeny Y. Satanovsky is the Founder and President of "Ariel Group", a conglomerate pf Russian companies producing and trading metallurgical products and equipment for oil industry. He studied at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys and he has a Ph.D. in Economics from the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Science. Mr. Satanovsky is a visiting professor at the Geveva Center for Security Policy, Professor at the Shimone Dobnow School for Humanities, and is the Head of the Division for Israeli Studies at the Center for Jewish Studies of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Within his public activities, Evgeny is the President of the Institute for Middle Eastern Studies, he is a member of the Center for Oriental Literature of Russian National Library, a member of the PIR Center, Member of the Editorial Board of the Academic Journals “Oriental Collection” and “Diasporas", and he is the Acting Vice President of the Russian Jewish Congress.

Mr. Evgeny Satanovsky is a Committee Member since September 2006.
