WHEREAS the Agreement for the Reconstitution of the Jewish Agency ("the Agreement") sets out in Section II D1 (b) that "The Board of Governors may determine and alter the number of Agency Departments and their areas of responsibility"; and
WHEREAS the Jewish Agency realizes the importance of combining the work of the Construction Division with that of the Israel Region into one integrated body;
THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. To transfer the Construction Unit from the Israel Department to become an integral part of the Israel Region.
2. The transfer will be effective as of November 1st, 2006.
