Yitzchak Krichevsky was born in Rosh-Pina and moved with his parents to Avihail, a cooperative Israeli settlement that was established by the JNF and the Jewish Agency. When he was 15 he joined the Palmach Movement, he participated in the bombing of Alenby Bridge and in the Black Shabbat in July 46' he was arrested for two months. Mr. Krichevsky also fought the Independent War and was the last wounded soldier in Gush Etzyon.
After the war, Mr. Krichevsky studied in Beit Berl and than guided new immigrants. He earned a BA degree in Society and Economy from Haifa University. He worked in the Israeli Electricity Company for 43 years and was active in the Workers' Committee. He served for eight years and the Chairman of the company's pensioners and was candidate of Gil Party for the Knesset, after having being one of its founders.
