The Jewish Agency is a partnership of three constituent bodies: the World Zionist organization (WZO), (which constitutes 50% of all Jewish Agency governing bodies), the United Israel Appeal/United Jewish Communities, (which constitutes 30% of all Jewish Agency governing bodies) and Keren Hayesod (which constitutes 20% of all Jewish Agency governing bodies). The Jewish Agency's governing bodies, the Assembly, the Board of Governors and the Executive, are compriesd of members of each of these constituent organizations. This broad representation ensures that Jews around the world collectively decide on the Agency's programming, in coordination and understanding with the Israeli Government.
In addition, many Jewish Agency activities are decided upon and carried out in cooperation with other partners around the world. These include numerous Israeli government ministries, foreign governments, international non-governmental entities, local and regional councils in Israel, voluntary associations in Israel and abroad, philathropic foundations, institutions of higher learning, and leaders from the private sector.
