Ephraim Lapid Appointed Director of the Jewish Agency's Spokesman's Unit.

Ephraim Lapid has been appointed as the Director of the Jewish Agency's Spokesman's Unit. Lapid will assume his new position in October. During the past three years, Lapid has served as the Director of Ulpan Akiva in Netanya, a unique international study center for Hebrew and Arabic language and culture serving all religious denominations from Israel and abroad.

Brigadier General (res.) Ephraim Lapid has in the past served as a Senior Intelligence Officer in the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), IDF Spokesman, and Commander of the Israel Army Radio (Galei Zahal). In civilian capacities, Lapid has been Director General of the Ifat Media Information Center and Media Advisor to the late Zevulun Hammer when he was Minister of Education.
