Jewish Agency to Hold Briefing for Security Officers on Increasing Security for Israeli Schoolchildren
Security officers of regional councils from throughout Israel will convene in the Jewish Agency Building in Jerusalem on Sunday, 6 October at 12:00 noon for a briefing on reinforcing security of Israeli schoolchildren. School security is being upgraded, with the assistance of the Jewish Agency, in the context of the Israel Emergency Campaign conducted by the United Jewish Communities of North America (UJC) and Keren Hayesod.
The briefing for security officers is taking place upon the initiative of the Israel Police. Representatives of the Israel Police, the Ministry of Internal Security, the Ministry of Education, and the Center for Regional Government will participate in the briefing.
Jewish Agency Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Giora Romm will open the conference.
The press is invited to cover the briefing, which will be held in Weizmann Hall, Jewish Agency Building, 48 King George St., Jerusalem.
