December 7, 2003 - Protected Vehicles

12 Kislev, 5764
Jerusalem

Protected Vehicles

The Mateh Asher regional council inaugurated two new protected vehicles to be used for transporting students to and from school. The new buses were made possible by a 1,500,000 NIS donation that the Jewish Agency for Israel transferred from the Joseph and Harvey Meyeroff Fund. The new buses received approval from the Home Front Command and the Ministry of Education whose representatives were present at the inauguration ceremony.

Pictured, the head of the Mateh-Asher regional council and Dimon Raz, the director of the Western Galilee region of the Jewish Agency, cut the ribbon for the new buses.
