Bielski Honors AMIA Victims

On his recent trip to Latin America, Jewish Agency Chairman Zeev Bielski  laid three memorial wreaths: one, in memory of the victims of the 1994 bombing of Argentine-Israeli Mutual Association (AMIA) headquarters, in which 85 were killed and hundreds wounded; the second, in memory of the victims of the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy; the third, in memory of those Jews who disappeared during the rule of the PRN military junta.

At the event, Chairman Bielski said that "A direct line connects the terrorist attacks that occurred here in Argentina and the attack which occurred today [Monday] in Netanya. Regrettably, the entire Jewish people must continue the struggle against terrorism, anti-Semitism, and other destructive phenomena in Jewish communities worldwide as well as in Israel. This is the blood-bond
between the Jews of Israel and those of the Diaspora."
