A modern computer center began operating on November 18, 2007 at the Bat Zion dormitory high school for girls in Jerusalem, thanks to a contribution from Ms. Gabi Weisfeld of Toronto, Canada.
The school is home to 60 girls from the Jewish Agency Naaleh program who arrived three years ago from the Former Soviet Union. Thanks to the assistance of Ms. Gabi Weisfeld of Toronto, new computers were purchased as well as furniture for the computer center and library. The center is also used for computer instruction, a library and a center for surfing the Internet and maintaining ties between the girls and their parents, who remained behind in the Former Soviet Union.

The Bat Zion students greeted Gabi Weisfeld during her visit and thanked her for the generous gift. They also awarded her a certificate of appreciation with greetings and thanks in Russian, Hebrew and English. Ms. Weisfeld said she was most satisfied with the modern equipment, the graceful furniture, but especially with the opportunity to meet the happy and contented girls.
Students, who join the Jewish Agency Naale program, join a school where each class has an educational team working with it, consisting of the class teacher, housemother and social instructor. In addition, another professional team is available for both social and moral support. To contribute to Naale, click here.
