Between rounds of Katyushas, volunteers Zipora Ne'eman and Moshe Natan, Haifa residents, made their rounds to the Karmiel and Neve Shaanan (Haifa) Absorption Centers. The couple taught the residents the traditional art of paper cutting which entertained young and old alike.

The Jewish Agency for Israel in conjunction with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Jewish community and Israeli embassy in Hungry, initiated a one week summer program in Budapest for 40 children from the North of Israel as part of the Moving Our Children to Safety Campaign.  Two additional groups are scheduled to participate in the program as well.
