Shaar HaNegev Camp Begins
July 31, 2007 / 16 Av 5767
First of all I'm happy to report that enrollments in the Shaar HaNegev camp is surpassing
our estimates!
Camp activities began today. In the Eshkol Regional Council camp, we staged a Bible day. In an original and creative fashion, utilizing drama to achieve an encounter with biblical figures, the campers become acquainted with narrative chapters from the Bible that are part of our history.

Campers spent the better part of the day building their camp and engaging in "ice-breakers" games that achieve bonding within the group.
Shaar HaNegev students who just completed 8th grade set out for a three-day camp in Beersheba, an activity that is designed to forge their leadership, and strengthen group cohesion. The activity centers on current social conditions and includes an encounter with youth from the entire Negev region.

Having fun!
