The Chazit Hanoar group of 21 participants from Uruguay came to Mitzpe Ramon in September for two months and volunteered in the schools and gamin. They taught Spanish in the afternoons.

This is all part of the Partnership 2000 connection between Uruguay and Mitzpe Ramon. The mayor of Mitzpe, Sami Shushan, welcomed the group and made them as comfortable as possible.
