Afula's special Independence Day festivities attracted tens of thousands of visitors every evening in the new municipal park. The new park stretches over 120 dunam of lush lawns, unique games and recreation area, an artificial lake, hiking and foot paths and a sport-court area.   more

On Holocaust and Martyrs Remembrance Day, Afula/Gilboa hosted a mission from Hartford. The day began with the two-minute siren, when we all stood perfectly still with residents of Beit Uri (a residential facility for the developmentally disabled) in memory of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust.  more
