Hand knitted blankets made by Beth El Temple Women, West Hartford Conneticut being given by Donna Ron, Partnership 2000 Living Bridge Coordinator, to Jeanette Koll, at Beit Uri.

Jeanette Koll, parent of a Beit Uri Resident and Coordinator of Resource Development wrote to Rabbi Rosen of Temple Beth El:

"We were so delighted to receive the beautiful afghan blankets knitted by members of the Beth El Community for the Beit Uri residents. Donna handed them over to me last week before a meeting with many members of the Beit Uri staff and all the gorgeous blankets were laid out on the table for everyone to see. Quite an event...so much time and effort went into this project and we were quite overwhelmed with the kindness and caring that clearly oozes out of your community. You must have truly inspired your congregants after your visit to Beit Uri and we are very, very grateful. We look forward to welcoming you in the home again on any future visit."
