The Partnership 2000 Steering Committee between SNEC and Afula-Gilboa took place on October 28, 2004. A delegation of ten people from Westport.and Worcester traveled to Afula-Gilboa for this occassion. The delegation met with many professionals and lay volunteers in the region and visited projects and institutions in the region. The projects approved for budgeting for the fiscal year 2005 include many new projects:

• Hot Meals in Afula and Gilboa for school-age children

• Young Emissaries

• JumpStart/CET for better achievements in Afula's schools

• Teen Information and Guidance Center

• Unistream Center for Teen Entrepreneurship

• Teachers Exchange

• Business Women's Forum in Gilboa

• Bible/Koran Quiz

• Drug Prevention workshop for parents and children

• Community Building in Afula
