This new Afula-based program has begun operation in the city. The Jewish Agency-operated program is conducted in cooperation with the City of Afula and with the support of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington (D.C., Maryland and Virginia).

The program will work with 160 elementary school children from the 3rd - 5th grades throughout the city. Each group of 16 children will be counseled by an adult counselor or "trustee" who will guide them in both individual and group aspects.

All of us are hopeful that the SNEC communities will accept the challenge of contributing the funds necessary for expanding the project to the Gilboa communities as well.
