Women in Leadership Roles

The second in a series of four seminars aimed at empowering women has begun in the Women for Women Center with a group of 20 career women from the Afula/Gilboa region. The four-session seminars touch issues that affect every woman who has to juggle both a career and family, e.g.

The Status Of Women In Israel And The World, Daily Life Conflicts And Coping With The Children, Your Husband, Home And Career- How To Balance Them All Without Anyone Getting Hurt. Success has been greater than anyone could have ever imagined with each seminar bringing with it an increasing number of women who wish to participate and registration for the third seminar has already begun.
The participants have the privilege and responsibility of conveying what they learn during the seminar to their colleagues at work, the power to improve the outlook of those surrounding them and maintain their own successes.

The series began in June 2006 following opening, welcoming remarks made by Dr. Judith Antonelli, chair of the Partnership 2000 Afula/Gilboa Steering Committee and founder of the "Women for Women" project and Rob Adler, SNEC President and Steering Committee co-chair.
