On Monday March 11, at Jerusalem's Gan Sacher, a group of women from Israel and Cleveland marched together to kickoff a 3-year, 3 million dollar women's health project sponsored by the Cleveland Jewish Community Federation. Dr. Greer Glazer of Cleveland states, "together we want to work to improve the women's health of Israel".
Throughout the ten day visit by the Clevelanders some of the issues of women’s health that were discussed had to do with women’s health and empowerment, the need Israel has in refining many of the health institutions, and the fact that women altogether still need help.
As the ladies marched around the park their faces conveyed the message of the importance of this day.

The Partnership 2000 connection was felt as women from Beit Shean joined their Cleveland peers in the march. "Our women's group arrived in Jerusalem to join the women from all over the country," said Efrat Ben-Or of Beit Shean. "We were very glad to see familiar faces from Cleveland, and we are thankful for the happiness that you show us in these sad days; we know that you support us all the time."
"This project has the concept of trying to improve health," said Cleveland's Sheryl Weinstein. "Everyone should have it."
